Rosanne N. Rust, MS, RD, LDN completed her clinical dietetic internship at the Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, and has over 20 years of experience working in nutrition care and freelance arenas. She’s worked in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings, managed an outpatient HMO nutrition department, as well as consulting with Head Start, and in long term care. She has managed a private nutrition practice and home office for the past several years. Currently Rosanne provides nutrition consultation services to local colleges and businesses, teaches online nutrition courses, and offers online weight loss coaching and corporate wellness as a licensed provider for Real Living Nutrition Services. She provides nutrition lectures for corporate wellness and local community organizations, and writes diet and nutrition columns for local and online publications. Rosanne is a member of the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association (PADA), and Nutrition Entrepreneur Dietetic Practice Group. She served as Co-chair, Continuing Education for the Pennsylvania Dietetic Association Foundation from 2003-2005, and served on the American Dairy Association/Dairy Council Mid East Children’s Nutrition Advisory Committee in 2000 and the Children’s Calcium Partnership in 2001. She is serving as President in the 2009-2010 year for Northwest Pennsylvania Dietetic Association. As the mother of three active boys Rosanne knows first hand what it’s like to keep children well fed, healthy and active.
